I began playing the violin as a 7 year-old, the Kontrabass at 9, and the Bass Guitar at 12, which is only important because these very studies taught me how to navigate the mysterious scapes of “planet wine” and made me the Sommelier I am today. The language of music, which so effortlessly unites us all, also unlocks the boundless wonders of fermented grape juice, translating its beguiling wit to a universal sense of community. For wine, as in music, is palpable emotion - a common bond which with every drawn cork, takes us on a journey through culture, time and place…with each sip, an inspiring dialogue…and with every glass, a timeless performance for the senses. Wine is more than a mere indulgence;

It is a commemoration of life itself.

Welcome to Sticks & Stones, a Terroir-Bar.

Enjoy the show.

„Ein großer Wein erfordert einen Wahnsinnigen, der den Weinstock anbauen soll, ein weiser Mann, der darauf wacht, ein klarer Dichter, der es tut, und einen Liebhaber, der ihn trinken kann.“
